Cruising Club - official Fan Zone for the America's
Cup.
Silver Egg Road Mill Bay Mangonui.
Open for viewing the racing and welcomes all to join with us. You
don’t have to be a club member to come along. Just bring your
enthusiasm and curiosity for these races where we will finally see
all the boats pitted against each other.
The club is working hard to make this a memorable occasion and has
purchased a large television to make the most of the coverage.
The Prada
Cup Challenger Series starts on Friday 15 January and runs through
to Monday 22 February 2021.
Round robim races are scheduled for 15, 16. 17 and 22, 23,24 January.
Semi finals are scheduled for 29, 30 31 January and 2 February. Finals
are scheduled for 13, 14, 17 and 19 to 22 February.
And on Saturday 6 March, the winner of the Prada Cup will come up against Emirates Team NZ in the 36th America’s Cup.

Far North Garden Safari
This year between Coopers Beach and Hihi. There are 12 lovely gardens
to visit. Refreshments and stalls will be available on Saturday only,
this year at the St John Hall Coopers Beach headquaters.
Tickets for the safari cost $25 and give admission to the gardens
on both days. Tickets are available from usual outlets (CBEC Garden
Centre, MvCarthny Mitre 10, Te Ahu i-Site - all in Kaitaia, Bloomfields
Garden Centre, Aurere, Gloss Bookshop Mangonui and Needful Things
in Kerikeri). A bus will be available on the Saturday leaving from
the back of Te Ahu by 9am for $10.

Mangonui Lions Annual Fun Run
10.00am start and finish at Coopers Beach Playground Reserve, SH10,
Coopers Beach.
Entry is Free this year.
Distances: 8km, 6km, 4km and 2km. Shorter routes are push-chair friendly.
This community event is designed to promote fitness in our district.
The course is along Coopers Beach and through the Taumarumaru Reserve.
Refreshments and prizegiving at the conclusion of the runs at Coopers
Beach Reserve.
Funds raised will go to Mangonui Lions Club’s community projects.
