The terrific, wonderful and magical world of Anika Moa's 'Songs for Bubbas' is heading to Kaitaia and Totara North. Songs for Bubbas is a high energy show with te reo Maori, a lot of hangry animals and a daring ninja rat plus a few lullabies to settle your boo boo. She's like the baby whisperer of Aotearoa with a dash of CRAZY!

CHRIS SANDERS: THE ANGEL STAR SHOW
Multi award-winning children’s author and musician Chris Sanders will be presenting a selection of his favourite kids songs including Angelstar, The Lonely Book and the 111 Ambulance Song, a real catchy tune which teaches kids what to do in an emergency. This show is interactive and a whole heap of fun, with an educational twist.

Far North Garden Safari

Far North Garden Safari
This year between Coopers Beach and Hihi. There are 12 lovely gardens to visit. Refreshments and stalls will be available on Saturday only, this year.
Tickets for the safari cost $25 and are available from usual outlets from 1 October.
A bus will be available on the Saturday leaving from the back of Te Ahu by 8.45am for $10.
Supporting Riding for the Disabled Kaitaia.

Mangonui Lions Annual Fun Run
10.00am start at Mangonui School, Colonel Mould Drive, Mangonui. Finish at Coopers Beach Reserve, SH10, Coopers Beach.
Entry fee: $10 adults; $2 children.
Distances: 8km or 6km, with 2km Beach Run for the littlies.
This community event is designed to promote fitness in our district. The course is mainly road and footpath for 5km, then hard-packed beach for 1km, followed (for the 8km course) by 2km on a grass track in a reserve. The children will have a 2km Beach Run along Coopers Beach. There will be refreshments and Prizegiving at the conclusion at Coopers Beach Reserve.
Funds raised will go to Mangonui Lions Club’s community projects.
