DESCRIPTION:Sadly the 2025 Festival has been cancelled but we are working on a festival date for 2026.  So keep watching.The Mangōnui Waterfront Festival- where does the money go?\n \n• The festival is a major local event which brings businesses and tourists together.\n \n• It Costs $100 000 to present and would run at a loss, if the Doubtless Bay Promotions Inc (DBPI) didn’t get grants and the $10 gate fee for adults.\n \n• Costs include: Road closures, waste disposal, stage set up and electrical, musicians, entertainment and event management.\n \n• Any profits go back into the community to: Mangōnui Lions and Taipa Schools, St John’s and of course our own Info Centre.\nThis festival provides an invaluable platform for local artisans and craftsmen, and local businesses.\nAnd it’s fun!
